A ledger for goals you finish. Give a goal a sheet, mark a square each time you do it, and keep the whole record, slips included.

Suzuri is named for the inkstone, where ink is ground by hand before you write. Each goal gets its own sheet, and you mark a square each time you do it. If you slip, you strike that square with one diagonal line. The slip stays on the record and is never erased, because a record you can trust means more than one that looks flawless. A sheet finished clean earns its seal. When life interrupts, you set the goal aside and start a fresh sheet when you’re back.

There are 52 sheets of three kinds:

  • 32 Days sheets: 21 days, one square a day.
  • 16 Sets sheets: sixteen sessions, four by four, for things you don’t do daily.
  • 4 Open sheets: you write your own count, up to 35 squares.

Every sheet has space for the goal, the date you began, and a note. When a sheet closes, you log it in the Impressions index at the back, imperfect runs included. The same ledger is in the Suzuri app at suzuriapp.com. This book is the analog version, for when you’d rather put the phone away for a while.

This is a printed book, printed on demand, one at a time. It’s 62 pages at 6 × 9 in (15.2 × 22.9 cm).
