The hundred surnames you’ll meet most often in mainland China, in order of how many people carry them, from 王 and 李 down to 常. Each one has its pinyin underneath. The top five alone, 王, 李, 张, 刘 and 陈, cover nearly a third of the population.
You’ll get two versions. White prints well at home or at a copy shop. Washi is the warm paper tone in the photos, and a print shop will do it best: ask for borderless printing, or trim the edge yourself. Each comes as PDFs in 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, and A-series proportions and high-resolution PNGs, with a sizing guide and a short how-to-print sheet.
