These terms cover buying anything from Brushtalking at brushtalking.com. By placing an order, you agree to them and to our Refund & Returns Policy.
Brushtalking is run by Brushtalking LLC, based in Utah, USA. General questions go to hello@brushtalking.com. Anything about an order goes to orders@brushtalking.com.
What we sell
- Digital downloads. Files you print yourself. They’re available right after purchase. You can download each file up to 5 times, so save a copy somewhere safe.
- Printed items. Posters, cards, and books that our print partners make to order and ship to you.
License for downloads
When you buy a Brushtalking download, you’re buying a license to use it, not the design itself. In plain terms:
You can:
- Print it for yourself, as many copies as you like, at home or at a print shop.
- Use it for your own learning, or in a classroom or home you teach.
- Write on it, frame it, keep it as long as you like. It’s your copy.
Please don’t:
- Resell or share the file, free or paid. If someone wants one, send them here.
- Post it anywhere others can download it.
- Use the design in something you sell, or pass it off as your own.
The file is yours to use. It isn’t yours to give away. One license covers one household or one classroom.
Orders and prices
Prices are in US dollars. Your order is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email. If a price is listed wrong, an item turns out to be unavailable, or an order looks fraudulent, we may cancel it and refund you in full. Payments are handled by our payment processors, and we never see or store your card details.
Digital downloads
Your files are available right after payment, from the link in your confirmation email and from your account page. Download links are always available, but save a copy somewhere safe. If a link stops working, write to orders@brushtalking.com and we’ll send a new one.
Customers in the EU and UK: a download starts right away, so at checkout you’ll be asked to agree to immediate access and to confirm that you understand this ends your 14-day right to cancel once the download begins.
Printed items
Printed items are made to order by our print partners and shipped directly to you. Production and delivery times shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. We ship worldwide.
International orders may be charged customs duties or import taxes by your country. These aren’t included in our prices, and you’re responsible for paying them.
Please check your shipping address before ordering. If a package comes back because the address was wrong, we can reship it, but you’ll need to cover the new shipping cost.

Accuracy
Characters and stroke order follow the standard reference for each script, and we check every design carefully. If you spot an error anyway, please tell us. We’ll fix it and send you the corrected file free, or reprint or refund a printed item.
Our designs
Everything on this site is copyright Brushtalking LLC. That includes the designs, text, and photos. Buying a product gives you the license described above, not ownership of the design.
Liability
We sell our products as described on their listings. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights you have that can’t legally be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you placed your order is the one that applies to that order.
